Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Soundvows collects when you order a personalized piece, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it minimal on purpose.
What we collect
- Your order details — the names, title, caption and date you want on your piece.
- Your audio — the recording or sound you send us to draw the waveform.
- Your email — to deliver your files and reply to you.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Gumroad, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your full card details.
How we use it
- To create and deliver your personalized piece.
- To provide support and handle revisions or refunds.
- To send you your files, and only if you opt in, occasional updates.
Your audio — our commitment
Your audio is used only to create your piece. We never share it, publish it, sell it, or reuse it for anything else. Once your order is delivered and the revision window has passed, we delete the original audio from our systems.
Who we share data with
- Gumroad (our Merchant of Record) processes your payment and issues your receipt. See Gumroad's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
- The intake form, email and hosting providers we use strictly to receive your order details and deliver your files.
- We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept only as long as needed for support, accounting and legal reasons. Your audio is deleted after delivery and the revision window.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time — just email us. If you are in the EU or UK you have rights under the GDPR, and if you are in California under the CCPA; tax-related data for your purchase is handled by Gumroad as Merchant of Record.
Cookies & analytics
Our own site currently uses no analytics or tracking cookies. The checkout, run by Gumroad, may set its own cookies to process your order securely. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
